Name: Amy Diedrich Kvant After MHS I: I went to St. Olaf for my degree orginally planning on being pre-vet, then I realized how much time in the library that would require and changed my major to Exercise Studies. I worked at Minnetonka Schools for 12 years and also coached volleyball and track for the Skippers. I got married in 1992 and we now have 2 boys. For the last 5 years I have been working as an Employee Benefit Consultant. Farthest away from MHS: Puerto Rico Best friend while at MHS: Sara Larson, Stephanie Stoltman, Karin Evan The most meaningful moment I have had since MHS: Being a Mom I now reside in: Chanhassen, MN Here’s what I do on a daily basis: Get ready for work, get my kids ready for daycare, work, come home and try to cram 8 hours of parenting into 4 hours, cook a home made diner at least once a week,and have spend so time with my husband. I have kids?: Cory age 8, and Carson age 4 1/2 I am married?: yes Spouse/Partner: Gerry Kvant. We met at Heidi Halvorson's ('82) wedding I’ve learned since high school: People have so much more to offer than what you see on the surface, we just need to take an extra minute to look!
