Name: Bernie Gaytko After MHS I: Graduated from University of St. Thomas with a Finance/Mktg degree. Went to work for Nestle Foods where I relocated throughout the Northeast, worked for Borden Inc., where I moved three more times before moving back from Boston to MN where I am currently the President/Director/Part-Owner of a group of Banks in S. MN. Graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at UW-Madison in 1998. While at MHS, I would have loved to have had a date with (or been noticed by): The Moody twins, gettyyup! Most Embarrassing High School memory is: Losing at strip poker on a band trip with Hardy, Heller, Schroer and having to stand in front of the window facing the parking lot. Coincidentally, the same night we ordered grasshoppers two tables away from Geldhert. Most exciting thing I’ve done since I left MHS: Traveled to many wonderful places and met many great friends...who am I kidding, drank 100 shots of beer in 100 minutes! Farthest away from MHS: London, England Most bizarre place I’ve run into an old classmate: Peter Levert in a bar at Harvard Square in Boston. Best friend while at MHS: "Dr" Mark Heller The most meaningful moment I have had since MHS: Locked in a secure memory. I now reside in: Waseca, MN Here’s what I do on a daily basis: Get up, run 5-6 miles then proceed to work where I get to play with other peoples money. Evenings are spent entertaining my wife and son. I have kids?: Michael 9, One on the way due December 3rd. (we're on pace for one a decade) I am married?: Yes Spouse/Partner: Psycologist, writer, mother. Beautiful woman who enjoys life. I’ve learned since high school: You still use the same amount of shampoo regardless of how much hair you have. What I would like to go down in history for: Raising two successful, happy sons, and winning the largest powerball ever recorded.
