After MHS I: After spending K-9 in Minnetonka schools, I moved from Minnetonka to Bozeman, MT at end of 9th grade. In Bozeman I attended high school and downhill skiied as much as possible. Moved back to MN to attend Macalester College. After graduating, I worked as a journalist. Got married to college sweetheart. Worked in marketing communications. Currently we live in Saint Paul with our two children: Jack, 6, and Isabelle, 3. I own a marketing communications business and (in all my spare time) I am starting work on a book.

Most bizarre place I’ve run into an old classmate: An old workplace.
I now reside in: Saint Paul
Here’s what I do on a daily basis: Spend time with my husband and two children. Run a marketing communications business. Write. Try to get the latest technology gadgets. Attend soccer games. Stay up too late. TiVo. Hang out with old college friends and new ECFE friends. Go up to the cabin as much as humanly possible in the summer.
I have kids?: Jack, age 6. Isabelle, age 3.
I am married?: Yes. 15 years.
Spouse/Partner: Just changing positions from a principal at Sandburg Middle School in Robbinsdale to Director of the Area Learning Center in Lakeville.
I’ve learned since high school: Answer 1. Everything. Answer 2. Thank God there is a much better life after junior high/high school.
What I would like to go down in history for: Being a good parent. Making a difference in children and family health, education and diversity issues through my communication services.
