Name: Carrie Barclay
After MHS I: *I attended UW Madison where I majored in Latin American Studies and took music performance classes. I also studied at the Universidad de Costa Rica for one year.
* I moved to San Francisco and for 8 years worked on the Latin America project for the DataCenter, a social justice nonprofit organization.
* I played bassoon in rock bands, orchestras, and free improvisation groups.
* I completed my masters in Library and Information Science and worked as a librarian in a pharmaceutical company doing research on Alzheimer's disease. I am now an Information Specialist at a law firm.
While at MHS, I would have loved to have had a date with (or been noticed by): Scott Wentworth
Most exciting thing I’ve done since I left MHS: * Went on tour with my band.
* Traveled in Central America in the turbulent 1980s and got stranded on the Nicaraguan border.
Farthest away from MHS: Costa Rica
Most bizarre place I’ve run into an old classmate: I never run into MHS classmates.
Best friend while at MHS: Jody Bearman and Chris Olin.
I now reside in: San Fransisco (Mission District)
I have kids?: Nope.
I am married?: Nope.
What I would like to go down in history for: Being a compassionate, caring, and trustworthy friend. Playing a mean bassoon.
