After MHS I: UW-Madison, BA-Journalism/Political Science, reporter -- Northfield News and then the Daily Citizen, Beaver Dam; field political representative for Wisconsin Medical Society; currently work as  the Director of Communications for Wisconsin Bankers Association.

Most exciting thing I’ve done since I left MHS: Getting married and having children

Farthest away from MHS: Skayway, Alaska and Maui, Hawaii

The most meaningful moment I have had since MHS: The birth of my children

I now reside in: Madison, Wisconsin

Here’s what I do on a daily basis: Work; chauffer my two children to a variety of sporting events; volunteer at school/YMCA/church (wish I had more time to volunteer at school)

I have kids?: Yes, Jacob (9) and Mary Catherine (7)

I am married?: Yes

Spouse/Partner: Steve Ottelien

I’ve learned since high school: That being involved with children is the most important thing you can do. It's also takes a lot of time, effort and patience.
