Name: Peter Furda After MHS I: Colgate University (BA) 1987. New York University Stern School of Business (MBA) 1991. Philip Morris International after graduation. Postings in Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, and since 1999, Dubai (UAE), where I am PM's Manager Finance & Business Development for the Gulf region. While at MHS, I would have loved to have had a date with (or been noticed by): Not enough space to list all of them Most Embarrassing High School memory is: Puberty and the impact it had on my voice Jr/Sr year. More amusing was the fact that Greg Holm was going through the same thing at exactly the same time in the same classes! Most exciting thing I’ve done since I left MHS: Leaving the USA 12+ years ago to join a multi-national firm. Farthest away from MHS: Port Arthur, Tasmania, Australia Most bizarre place I’ve run into an old classmate: Out of pure chance, I haven't run into anyone (living abroad doesn't help in this matter). Best friend while at MHS: Dave Kendrick (I just spent 10 days with him in Europe playin golf and drinking real beer). The most meaningful moment I have had since MHS: Birth of my son Max I now reside in: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Here’s what I do on a daily basis: Carpe diem I have kids?: Max - 18 months I am married?: Yes Spouse/Partner: Sharka (Czech national) I’ve learned since high school: 1) Timing is everything, 2) nothing is ever the way it seems and 3) family and friends are what matter most. What I would like to go down in history for: Going from being a corporate tool to doing something really (and I mean really) meaningful for the environment.
