Name: Scott Dorow
After MHS I: U of M - BA in Child Psychology MBA from St. Thomas. Sold TVs and Stereos to pay my way through school. Managed a large operation for a large Insurance company, got downsized, now manage a small operation for another large insurance company.
While at MHS, I would have loved to have had a date with (or been noticed by): Girls scared me.
Most Embarrassing High School memory is: You never know what your Mom might read, so I'll pass on this one.
Most exciting thing I’ve done since I left MHS: Capsized a canoe in the Pacific ocean after sitting so long that both of my legs were asleep. Try swimming in the ocean without the use of your legs - that's excitement.
Farthest away from MHS: Hawaii
Most bizarre place I’ve run into an old classmate: I worked for a year as a bouncer at First Avenue and ran into a lot of classmates -- First Avenue in 1985 was a very bizarre place...
Best friend while at MHS: Jeff Gray
The most meaningful moment I have had since MHS: Getting Married, having 3 kids, getting divorced, getting married again. Being laid-off from a job I loved.
I now reside in: Lakeville
Here’s what I do on a daily basis: Get up way too early, go to work, tell a bunch of people what to do, go home and pick up my stepdaughter, work out, cook dinner, do what my wife and daughter tell me to do.... Very exciting.
I have kids?: Zach - 14, Cole - 12, Betsy - 9, and Stepdaughter Nicole - 10
I am married?: Yes
Spouse/Partner: Jennie Wippermann
I’ve learned since high school: Friendships are much more important than I realized in high school. Being a jerk is not the best way to make friends.
What I would like to go down in history for: not going down in history.
